The title of chapter three is, “Why can’t I learn?” There is certainly reason for this to be an appropriate title. However, as I was reading the chapter I thought of the title, “Life on the Farm”.

On page 27 the author remarks that Farmer Hogget “caught himself half-expecting, when he patted the piglet, that it would wag its tail.”
